Step-by-step protocol

Step 1Set up coral QT tank: 10g+ with low-flow + reef-grade LED + sponge filter

Step 2Match parameters to display reef tank

Step 3Initial dip: CoralRx or Bayer per manufacturer instructions

Step 4Discard original frag plug + remount on new plug

Step 5Day 1-30: observe for white bite marks, retracted polyps, brown jelly

Step 6Day 7: second dip for AEFW eggs (hatching cycle)

Step 7Day 14: third dip

Step 8Day 21: fourth dip

Step 9Day 28-30: final dip + transfer to display if no pest signs
