About this tropheus regional morph

Bemba is collected from the southern Zambian shore. Body coloration ranges from deep orange to red-flame depending on mood and dominance status. Less common than Ikola in the trade but considered one of the most beautiful Tropheus by collectors.

Care notes

Identical care to Ikola. Group dynamics are critical - Tropheus are aggressive intra-species and require large groups (12+ minimum, 20+ ideal) to spread aggression. Wild-caught Bemba is rare; F1 captive-bred specimens are now available from specialty breeders.
