Definition

The EcoTech MP40 is a controllable propeller-driven wavemaker mounted via magnet through the tank glass. The de-facto standard for reef tank flow.

Practical use

Rated for 200-1,200 GPH (0-100% setting). Programmable via the Mobius app: lagoonal, reef crest, surge, pulse modes. Pair 2x MP40 (one each end) on tanks 75-180 gallons; 2x MP60 on tanks 180-300 gallons.
