Trachyphyllia geoffroyi (open-brain) is one of the most beginner-friendly LPS corals. Sits on sand bed (not rock), tolerates moderate parameter swings, dramatic coloration including reds, greens, and oranges. T. radiata is the rarer species; both share the same care profile.
